ABOUT NPJ VOLLEYBALL CLUB

Great volleyball experiences start with great people. Winning is great, but how you win—and how you treat people along the way—matters more. At NPJ, people feel seen, valued, and welcomed. We have caring coaches, supportive teammates, and accountability. Our culture blends warmth and rigor: athletes are known, supported, and challenged to discover their best.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of North Pacific Juniors (NPJ) Volleyball Club is to support and train athletes to play competitive volleyball and prepare them with essential skills for high school and college level competition, as well as to teach life lessons through the game of volleyball.

From 2021–2025, NPJ recorded 19 finishes in the national Top 100 (final rankings by US Club Rankings)—more than all other CEVA clubs combined (14) and all other PSR clubs combined (10). That progress confirms that our approach is working: meaningful training, strong competitive opportunities, and a culture that is also built for learning and performance.

We move beyond drilling “perfect” technique in isolation. At NPJ, technical training is individualized—tasks, goals, and techniques are tuned so each athlete is appropriately challenged and can discover the technique that works best for them. This approach also reduces unnecessary repetition and lowers the risk of overuse injuries by avoiding movement patterns that don’t align with the athlete’s body.

  • provide an opportunity for competitive and committed female athletes to develop and expand their athletic skills to their highest potential and strive for excellence
  • increase players’ knowledge and understanding of individual and team skills and strategies
  • help players develop positive decision-making responses and behaviors essential for challenges faced both on and off the court
