Kristie Hopkins - 14 White Head Coach

Kristie is a native Oregonian who has been playing sports her whole life. She started playing volleyball in middle school and since then, has turned the sport into her passion. 

 

  • Has been coaching volleyball for the past 20+ years – including high school and multiple club programs/age groups
  • Current high school volleyball referee
  • President of Portland Volleyball Association (adult league)
  • Member of the Bridge Volleyball Crew (CEVA adult tourneys)
  • Plays women’s indoor and grass 

Along with volleyball, Kristie has also played softball her whole life. She plays co-ed slow pitch during the fall, spring and summer seasons. 

This is Kristie’s second season with NPJ. She loves the competition and teamwork that volleyball can provide. “Be a Goldfish” is the perfect motto for the sport of volleyball. It is also Kristie’s favorite TV show!
