Chad loves teaching the game of volleyball. He is passionate about helping players operate at the edge of their abilities and seeks constant growth from his teams. He received his Bachelor's degree and teaching credential from San Diego State University and after teaching for three years, changed to a career with Costco Wholesale. He has worked for Costco for 25 years and has spent much of his career in staff development, training, and leadership. His background in teaching and training allows him to deliver technical instruction in a clear and understandable way for players. 

Chad coached for Boost VBC for six years in Maple Valley before joining our club. As he begins his fourth year with NPJ, he says goodbye to an amazing group of U14 girls he has coached for two years and hello to a new group of incoming U13 players. He believes the sports can not only teach the technical skills and passion for the game, but also valuable life skills such as self-confidence, growth mindset, service, problem solving, and conflict resolution.

Chad has two daughters and is committed to helping girls discover a confidence in who they are on the court and beyond.
