Megan Seifert- Assistant Coach

Megan is honored and excited to return to the world of volleyball as a coach for NPJ.  She was barely 10 years old when she discovered her love of the game while playing and watching the game be played on courts and on the beaches throughout California.  In High School she was a 4 year varsity starter and was recruited to set for the University of the Pacific (UOP).  Red-shirting her first year gave her a total of 5 years at UOP, during which she played in UOP’s 1999 Final Four appearance, earned All-Big West First Team honors in 2001, and All-Big West Honorable Mention in 2002.  She is also a 2-time UOP Hall of Fame inductee, and is proud to have played with and against some of the best players and coaches in the game.

Megan has a B.S. in Biology which was earned with the intent of pursuing a career in veterinary medicine.  But, being a proud military wife and getting to raise two awesome kiddos put vet school and volleyball on the back burner.  Now with one of those kids in college, the other one able to drive himself to and from school and baseball, and a supportive husband who shares a love of the game, she enjoys being back in the gym and looks forward to sharing her love and knowledge of volleyball with NPJ athletes.
