Angelica Arellano - 12 National Head Coach

Angelica (Angi) Arellano

Hi Y'all, I've been coaching youth sports for 20+ years. I started coaching Youth soccer at the age of 12. I was officially my Father's Assistant coach for my brother's youth soccer team. I Assisted in the Westside Warriors Youth Soccer Club for 4 years while I continued to play Volleyball.

I did Not play Collegiate Volleyball. After college I continued to play Volleyball recreationally but stepped back in to Coaching in 2012.

In 2012 I Assisted the Emmaus Christian School's 7/8th grade Volleyball team. I missed coaching. Stepping back in to it was the right thing.

In 2014 I moved on to Head Coach in the Catholic Youth Organization, CYO, at Valley Catholic in Beaverton. It's where I grew up and played and my father coached me. My oldest was about to enter CYO Volleyball.

I have 2 daughter's, both have played for me in CYO. Currently I Head coach both 8th grade teams at Valley Catholic with my 16th year old Daughter Katiya Arellano, who's Also a Varsity starter at Valley.

In 2020 when the pandemic hit, and Volleyball shutdown, My Daughter Kati, and I created Limitless Youth Athletics(LYA), with the idea, that Youth Athlete’s didn’t need a gym... We showed Youth Athletes drills to do at home, to keep training and sharpening their skills. I helped High school Volleyball and Lacrosse Athletes with Nutrition, workout plan and College Recruitment. All the while Teaching " Where there's a will there's a way!"

In the Summer of 2022 LimitlessYouthAthletics(LYA) went from not only Skills Sessions and College Recruitment But also became a Beach Volleyball Club in the Hillsboro Area by Century High School.

Because of rapid Growth Training We went from Private sessions to Team Practices. LYA competed in a few of NPJ Salem's Beach Tournaments at Corban University, Finishing in Top spots.

I truly believe that given the right environment and opportunity anyone can achieve THEIR Greatness.
