Craig Edwards - 14 Black Head Coach

Craig was born and raised in the heart of basketball country in Indiana, but that did not stop him from instantly falling in love with the game of volleyball after playing on a club team in college.  He became a student of the game but did not start coaching until moving to Oregon.  He started coaching at YVBA in both the recreational and club for five years, until the pandemic.  He just completed his first year coaching at NPJ Portland, coaching in both the 14U and 16U divisions.  Craig brings passion to the sidelines each day in an environment that allows young athletes to feel confident and determined to reach their potential!

"My goal is to make sure each athlete I have the pleasure of coaching loves the sport of volleyball more than when they started the season with NPJ!  I truly believe that the game of volleyball will provide athletes with skills and friendships that will long last their playing days/"

Craig currently resides in Wilsonville with a house full of beautiful women!  His wife Liz, daughter Ariana, daughter Kenzie, who is a current NPJ player, and his dogs Delilah and Coraline.  He also has a son named Collyn who lives in Indiana.
