I was born and raised in Beaverton, Oregon where I played 9 years of volleyball. I started playing club in 7th grade and was on varsity for 2 years at Mountainside High School. I have played everything from setter to middle blocker, but I ended my career as an opposite.

I currently attend Oregon State University where I worked for the volleyball program as a student manager for 2 years before stepping away this last spring to focus on coaching.

This will be my second year coaching at NPJ and third year coaching overall. This past season I coached 14 White while also helping with 13 National towards the end of the season!

I was born in Riga, Latvia but moved to Salem, Oregon at 5 years old and it's where I've been since. With boys volleyball not being very popular I didn't start playing till I was out of high school. Now I'm almost ten years in and hope to never stop.

I'm a volleyball coach and player who wants to share his love of the sport by helping you achieve your highest potential in volleyball.

This is my 2nd year at NPJ and 6th year coaching overall.
