Born and raised in salem OR, I didn't know much about volleyball until I went to Oregon State University (go beavs) where I also met Adam Ellis. There I learned (from adam) to play competitive volleyball in both indoor on the men's club team and on the beach. I have been a part of NPJ's beach practices for the past 6(? Or 8?) Years and love seeing the growing numbers of kids each summer and their overall growth of the game. This year is my first year coaching indoor as the new assistant coach at Willamette University.

Katie grew up in Gresham, OR where she played volleyball for Barlow High school and various clubs. Katie is currently in her 1st season coaching varsity volleyball at North Salem High school, after several years assisting varsity, head coaching JV and helping the program improve. Katie has also coached club for 6 years around Salem. She is excited to continue her coaching career with NPJ
